HR ENGAGEMENT SURVEY DATA
Project Overview: HR Engagement Survey Analysis
The HR Engagement Survey Analysis project, based on a public domain dataset from Pierce County, Washington, aimed to assess employee engagement and satisfaction levels within the organization. Utilizing Power BI, the dataset was analyzed to derive valuable insights into various aspects of the workplace experience. The project focused on identifying strengths, areas for improvement, and departmental disparities to inform targeted interventions and enhance overall employee satisfaction and engagement.
Key Findings:
Sentiment Analysis: The survey revealed varying levels of agreement and disagreement among employees regarding different aspects of the workplace environment, highlighting the complexity of employee perceptions.
Strengths and Areas for Improvement: While employees generally felt clear about job expectations and access to necessary resources, there was a notable lack of recognition for good work, indicating potential areas for improvement in employee appreciation initiatives.
Year-over-Year Changes in Respondents: Fluctuations in survey respondents over the years suggested potential shifts in employee participation or organizational changes, warranting further investigation into underlying factors.
Departmental Satisfaction Ratings: Significant disparities in satisfaction levels were observed across departments, emphasizing the need for tailored interventions to address specific challenges and improve overall satisfaction.
Trends in Response Rates: Despite a steady increase in survey respondents until 2022, a significant decrease in 2023 indicated a potential decline in employee engagement, requiring attention and remedial action.
These key findings, derived from a public domain dataset and analyzed using Power BI, provide valuable insights into employee perceptions and satisfaction levels, guiding strategic initiatives aimed at fostering a positive and supportive work environment within Pierce County.

SALES DATA: POLYMER INDUSTRY
The Sales Director of a leading polymer additives company engaged Report Developer Carlos Cesari to create a Power BI report showcasing the sales financial data for 2020, 2021, and 2022 up to the present. The report must be user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and able to answer the question "Carlos, what can I see from the data?" It should include:
- Sales KPIs that highlight year-on-year performance and percentage increase/decrease.
- Trends over time.
- A graph comparing year-on-year performance.
- Data visualizations that compare products, countries, sales representatives, and segments based on the KPIs.
In addition, I created a simulator to show the Sales Director the potential impact on subsidiary revenue if orders quantity and discounts were modified. This extra feature demonstrates my commitment to going above and beyond to deliver an exceptional report.
